OJB kidney Ailment: ‘I Was Misconstrued’ Cries Actress Juliet Ibrahim

Juliet Ibrahim earlier today made some very controversial statement consigning popular Nigerian producer OJB Jezreel's fundraising for his Kidney problems

The sexy Ghanian actress came under negative criticism from fans after she made used her instagramm to release statements telling OJB's handler to reach out to the right people and stop harrasing the clebrities for fund

In a fresh statement hastily released by her media manager, Juliet cries out that her words were misunderstood

Juliet “I don’t mean for my tweets to be misconstrued and I won’t take OJB’s health problems with levity as many have misconstrued me…all I was trying to do was bring an idea of where we can get the transplant done since it’s utmost necessary we get it done soonest and funds ain’t coming in as much expected

I thought we could try a better and certified centre which isn’t as expensive as the current one in UK when there are several cheaper countries to perform the surgery.

Also instead of people lashing out on celebrities, they should rather be asking the government to help. “It should be further noted that we are all finding a lasting solution to help end the pain of the talented entertainer and bring smile to his face once again and not generate issue out of someone’s suggestion or hand of help,”

She stated further ““Currently I have 2 relatives living with kidney failure whom I’m responsible for and caring for, thus, I’m no stranger to whatever OJB is going through.” The fair complexioned actress came under fierce attack after her published statements went viral today.

NDLEA said, “our attention has been drawn to the post, quite frankly and I can tell you that action will be taken on it. The law is clear on the issue. Although more details are yet to come, Kelly Hansome has received an official “letter of termination of contract” from Kennis Music, I’m sure you know what this means. Meanwhile, enjoy “Here I Come” (produced by Kelly Hansome for UGLYBEATZ) in anticipation of the album.

JMartins brought tears to the eyes of over 70,000 fans in Owerri on Saturday June 22,as he interrupted his soulful performance, to bring Chukwudi Ejiofor a handicapped fan up to the stage.

Despite being physically challenged,Chukwudi who says he dances for a living, joined other fans for Martin’s dance competition, and he received wild cheers from the crowd.

As JMartins watched him mix acrobatics with dancing, he asked for silence as he spoke emphatically “God will restore you. I am not a pastor. I have nothing to give you but God who gives us life will restore you and restore your healing.

Overcome with emotion, JMartins left Chukwudi with a memento: his neck chain. He also took out time to take pictures with him backstage. It’s unconfirmed if he also gave him cash or exchanged contacts.

Finally! MI Finds His Missing Rib in Owerri!

Jude Abaga - one of the most eligible bachelors in the Nigerian music industry has finally found his missing rib. Where? Right on the stage of the famous Star Music Trek concert which held at Hero Square, Owerri over the weekend.

His gorgeous ‘partner’, ChinyereOkafor whom he selected from the sell out crowd, added her beautiful voice on stage to his rendition of his hit single “One Naira’’

And in total awe of her performance, M.I symbolically removed his gold necklace, proudly proclaiming her, the new ‘Mrs.Abaga’.

‘Ladies and gentlemen, let me introduce to you, the new MrsAbaga…’ he told Owerri fans as he hugged Okafor.

Interestingly, earlier in the day, during a stop over at Hot FM,colleague JMartins had prophetically declared that M.I would find his missing rib in Owerri. The rapper said 'amen', and gave a mock wedding speech, with Phyno and Martins urging him on…

However the ‘wedding’ which was an entertaining interlude during his show stopping performance was actually just anotherperformance, one of the many notable ones the popular entertainer reeled out through out his 5-star set...

Drogba robbed in Cote d’Ivoire

Cote d’Ivoire international Didier Drogba was robbed in a hotel while vacationing in Abidjan last week, according to local reports.

The 35-year-old striker, who joined Turkish club Galatasaray last January, returned from town to his hotel room on June 12 to find his luggage unpacked and strewed, with €7,500 missing. The Elephants’ captain reported immediately to the management of Hotel Ivoire, a five-star establishment and the country’s biggest hotel, where several players from the national team spend their holidays.

Nobody has been arrested for burglary and the funds have not been recovered, according to the police in the Cocody district where the hotel is situated. An investigation has since been opened.

Cote d’Ivoire booked its place to the third and final round of the 2014 World Cup qualifiers last weekend without Drogba, who is yet to return to the outfit.

Ayanbirin: Men harass me a lot

For Olakanye Olayemi Oluwatosin, the laboratory is no go area. The artiste, who is popularly known as Ayanbirin, studied Chemical and Polymer Engineering at the Lagos State University but prefers to toe the line of a talking drummer, a feat very rare among women.

She opened up to TS Weekend on why she embraced the drums, her family and her experience in the hands of men among other issues.

Enjoy it:

Who is Ayanbirin?

Ayanbirin simply means female drummer but my real name is Olakanye Olayemi Oluwatosin.

Are you from a family of drummers?

No, I learnt the art of drumming. I am not from the ‘Ayan’ family.

What were you doing before you started drumming?

I went to school, I studied Chemical and Polymer Engineering at the Lagos State University (LASU) but I grew up singing and I started from the church. The drumming thing came up when I needed to create an identity for myself, and I decided to learn how to play the drum.

How many years did it take you to learn how to play the drums?

It took me about one month because drumming is not what you learn at a go. You have to continue learning it day-in-day-out and the more you practice the better for you.

Is there a myth surrounding the art of drumming?

There are none. It is not compulsory that you must come from a family of drummers.

I wasn’t born into the family of Engineers; I learnt to be an Engineer like I learnt how to play the drums. A man called Alaroye taught me. Though, I also learnt from other people, Alaroye taught me the rudiments of talking drum.

Did you do some sacrifice according to tradition after you finished learning how to play the talking drum?

I learnt that people do things like worshiping the god of drums but as for me, I did not do such a thing because I am a Christian. I play my drums but that does not say that ‘isese o si, isese wa’ (there is tradition, it is what you believe in that matters).

How many years have you been playing the drums and how has it been?

I started in 1999, that is about 13 years and it’s been fun, I am enjoying it.

What are the challenges you have encountered as a female talking drummer?

There are lots of challenges. We have financial challenges, some people also want to have you for themselves, they are of the opinion that as a female artiste you need somebody you have to lean on and they believe that the only way they have to get at you is to come as a friend and later have you to themselves.

You mean dating?

Yes, they want to take advantage of you being a female talking drummer and sleep with you. They will tell you all sorts of stories like ‘you don’t have problem getting there but let’s get down first and other things will follow’, and such other dirty tales.

So, there is sexual harassment in trying to be a talking drummer?

There is, very serious one. I have encountered a lot. It takes the glory of God to get to where I am today.

How do you cope in a male dominated music industry?

It’s no more a male dominated industry because we have lots of female drummers now, it is really fulfilling that as a female drummer I‘m making an impact in an industry where an average person will not venture into, the male drummers are now supporting us.

For example, I now belong to the Professional Drummers Association of Nigeria, we have few women there but the men have been very supportive.

Ara came to the limelight through drumming and there is a belief that others are either copying or competing with her, how true is this?

I’m not in competition or rivalry with anybody because I have my own style of music. I play tra-hiptional music, though we have lots of female drummers, the sky is wide enough for everybody to fly. Ara is a sister because we are both from Ondo and we are colleagues in the business.

So you don’t have a boss?

Yes, I don’t have a boss but that does not mean that I don’t have those I respect in the industry.

I respect the likes of King Sunny Ade, Aunty Ayo Balogun, Asa, and Lagbaja. You have not recorded an album? I am more into stage performance but my first album was released in 2008 entitled, Unveiled, and I’m now working on another album dedicated to God, its suppose to be a double album which will be released this year. The first one is drum praise while the second is a pot pouri of different kind of music.

Why two albums at a time?

It’s to show that Ayanbirin is not only about drums. Ayanbirin plays the drum as well as sings; she is a complete entertainer. My recording company would soon unveil the albums.

Are you talking about Nigerian or foreign recording company?

Foreign but I won’t reveal the name yet. We are coming out with a project that will rebrand Ayanbirin, because I’m an embodiment of talent. I do paintings and I can draw among other things. Is there any health hazard associated with drumming especially for women?

There is none but when I started I used to have pains all over my body but now it has become part of me

Do you experience pains also in the b00bs?

No, drumming is a form of exercise for the breast. I discovered that whenever I am playing the drums it relaxes all my sensory organs.

What of performance on bed?

(Laughter) It makes me more fit for that, that is why I rehearse and whenever I rehearse, it makes feel like I’m coming from the gym.

Can you handle all the drums?

No, I have restricted myself to the social drums only, like the gangan (talking drum), I also play the bata and the dundun which comprises of iya ilu and omele.

As the wife of a prince can you play the traditional drums?

There are limitations; the drums in the palace, those used for rituals and other purposes can’t be played anyhow. For instance, Gbedu is not meant for just anybody. Like when I wanted to start drumming, I went to the Aalafin of Oyo, Oba Lamidi Adeyemi for tutorials and he told me that if not for civilization women were not allowed to play the drums.

He also educated me on the ‘dos and don’ts’ of drumming. It was a nice experience.

How did you meet the Alaafin?

We visited him as part of the activities towards the launching of my Mother Drum Art Foundation. Through the Foundation, we use the art to promote our cultural values.

How do you cope as a star, wife and mother?

When I am at home, I see myself as wife and mother and not as Ayanbirin because Ayanbirin is the woman on stage. But when I am in my costume, it’s a total transformation from Tosin to Ayanbirin.

How does your husband cope?

It’s God’s doing, my husband is very understanding that was why I stayed off the stage for about three years to have my babies and consolidate the home front.

What are you planning to do now apart from the album launch?

I am planning for my festival, Mother Drum Art Festival and Mother Drum Awards. Last year’s edition was very interesting and this year will not be an exception.

Popular Nollywood star, Emeka Ike may be in an alleged serious scandal. As we learnt, he may go to jail if he fails to rectify the issue as soon as possible.

The controversial former AGN presidential hopeful, we learnt, is allegedly involved in a bounced cheque scandal that we learnt, may take a jury to get him out.

As the story goes, the actor, who received a chieftaincy title in Egbonike, Anambra State and was recently made a Sports Ambassador for the newly launch project ‘RYTHM and PLAY’, is allegedly in a serious scandal, but this time, not in Nollywood nor power struggle, but a scam act that involves footballers.

Emeka Ike decided to give back to the community where he grew up, in Ogudu Ori-Oke Ojota Lagos state, by hosting a football tournament. The tournament was called Desert Football Tournament and was organized by Unity Football Association (UFA)

Emeka said the main reason why he decided to host the tournament was to help young talented footballers discover their talents, and thereby reduce crime rate in Nigeria. He also revealed that Tottenham and Togolese striker, Emmanuel Adebayo, has agreed to assist some stars to be identified at the football tournament, adding that some major clubs in Europe are also sending scouts to the tournament.

On the posters in the streets of Lagos, it was included that Kanu Nwankwo and the Minister of Youth and Sport, Mallam Bolaji Abdullahi will be their special guests of honor.

Each participating team was reportedly asked to pay the sum of N3000 for registration and 16 teams participated.

Emeka Ike reportedly promised that he was going to reward the winner with the sum of N500,000 naira, the first runner up with N100, 000, and the 3rd place winner will get N75, 000.;

Aside the popular musician, Daddy Showkey, who came to rack up the excitement of the tournament with his presence, no other public figure was reportedly present. Six months after the tournament, we gathered that none of the winning team has redeemed their winning. As you read this, Emeka was alleged to have totally ignored frequent calls or test messages sent to him, after he allegedly issued a bank cheque to the guys.

When contacted, Emeka Ike declined to speak with us on the story. However, his manager, who later spoke to us, said there is no iota of truth in the story.

According to Emeka's manager, the actor staged a competition that was aimed to make the society a better place, which turned out to be a success and glamorous.

On the allegation that known public figures were not at the event, the manager said it is not true as reported. He said apart from Daddy Showkey, other top personalities too many to mention attended the occasion.

It may be a coincidence but kanye's new YEEZUS album is West’s sixth solo album and, as was to be released on June 18, 2013 AD.

Album # 6
Month # 6
Day # 18 - which according to occult numerology reduces to 1+8=9 and 9, in such numerology, equals 666 since 6+6+6=18.

Thus, the message is 666.

Just as Jay-Z has gone by the name J-Hova or just Hova and also the more specific Jayhovah (as in a mockery of YHVH which some write as Jehovah. Kanye West goes also by the name Yeezy and also Yeezus. In his new song titled, “I Am a God” he states:

I just talked to Jesus
He said, "What up Yeezus?"
I said, "Shit I'm chilling
Trying to stack these millions"
I know he the most high
But I am a close high
Mi casa es su casa
That's that cosa nostra
I am a God
I am a God
I am a God

The occult is all based on the acquisition of “secret knowledge.” In fact, the word “occult” means “secret.” From the Garden of Eden, Satan was able to tempt Eve into sin by offering hidden wisdom by implying that God was withholding the true purpose of the fruit of the forbidden tree that it could make her a “god.” And Satan’s strategy has not changed today as those in the occult, New Age movement and other similar doctrine, seek to reach higher levels or degrees in their quest for the ultimate secret or acquisition of immortality and godhood.

In occult practices, Satan/Lucifer is GOD the Creator, the Savior, the Father; and that Jesus is "the first born brother of Satan. It is Lucifer who is the God of our planet and the only God. Satan, the Serpent of Genesis, is the real creator and benefactor, the Father of Spiritual mankind.

Against all odds, former Mavin Records artiste, Wande Coal will perform at the DKM Concert organised by D'Banj. The event, which will hold on June 23 in Lagos, will have the former Mo'Hits Records artiste give the audience a good feel of himself.

This was disclosed by Don Jazzy, who claimed he will miss the show for another function he would be involved in. When asked by a fan if he would be at D'Banj's concert, the Mavin Records boss said he won't be but Wande Coal would perform at the event.

Wande Coal, after the crash of Mo'Hits, went with Don Jazzy. It was even reported at a time that Wande Coal bitterly complained of being snubbed by Mo'Hits because of D'Banj.

This latest development would be a surprise to some of the fans of both artistes.

According to close friends of Lolade, the January beating was not the first time as he had battered her severally in the past, but it was the last straw that eventually broke the camel hunch.

Then she got her arrested and wanted the case charged to court for trial for wife battery etc, Gbenga pleaded with his wife to tender justice with mercy and the woman later dropped the case and only moved out of her matrimonial home with her only child to Gbenga.
