Broncos cannot beat the Chiefs without CJ Anderson

C.J. Anderson, Mike Mohamed

If the Broncos are going to beat the Chiefs, they’ll need running back C.J. Anderson. They’ll have him on Thursday night.

Listed as questionable with toe and ankle problems, Anderson is good to go on a short week.

Scratched for the Broncos are quarterback Trevor Siemian, defensive back Omar Bolden, defensive back Lorenzo Doss, linebacker Lerentee McCray, guard Shelley Smith, tight end Mitchell Henry, and defensive lineman Kenny Anunike.

Inactive for the Chiefs are quarterback Aaron Murray, cornerback Steven Nelson, linebacker Dezman Moses, offensive lineman Jeff Allen, receiver Frankie Hammond, and defensive lineman Rakeem Nunez-Roches.

It means that Chiefs tackle Eric Fisher is active. It remains to be seen whether Fisher or Jah Reid start at right tackle.
